Hazelnut Chocolate covered Truffles
Hazelnut Chocolate covered Truffles are so delicious! I can almost compare them to Ferrero Rocher but gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan! 🙂
I usually use peanut butter or almond butter for my sweets but this time I decided I wanted to experiment with Hazelnut butter.
You don’t need to much. It is definitely worth the try.
- 1 1/2 cup pitted dates
- 1/4 cup rice milk
- 1 tsp vanilla bean
- 1 tbsp. hazelnut butter
Blend first 4 ingredients until smooth. Add
- 1/8 cup crushed hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp. raw cacao powder- (I like to add my favorite chocolate protein instead).
- 1 cup gluten free oat flour
- add 1/8 crushed hazelnut.
Make balls and put a hazelnut in the center.
Roll balls in crushed hazelnut (OPTIONAL) and dip in chocolate.
